EURAM (European Academy of Management), in collaboration with EDAMBA (European Doctoral Program Association in Management and Business Administration) and EIASM (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management), invite doctoral students to participate in the EURAM Doctoral Colloquium 2007.
This invitation is addressed to students conducting doctoral research in all the areas of Management studies, who are relatively close to completing the research project for their dissertation, and who wish to present it to an international scientific community.
The Doctoral Colloquium is a EURAM 2007 pre-conference event, which will be held on May 16, 2007 at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
It will be held as a small, high-quality research event aimed at bringing together established management scholars with doctoral students. The objective will be twofold:
-
enrich the students’ background with ideas and concepts shared by senior scholars and peers related to what constitutes good social science research;
-
offer an opportunity to discuss their thesis ideas and problems with the aim of getting it closer to the ideal of “good” social science research.
Students should be at an advanced stage in their doctoral work and have the choice to submit either a
(max. 10 page) summary of the project or a fully developed paper derived from it.
A doctoral student must have an accepted paper to participate in the Doctoral Colloquium.
The submission deadline was February 12, 2007.
